Booking Gutter Cleaning in Seminole County: What to Ask
Choosing a gutter company is mostly a matter of asking a few direct questions. This page lists them, with the reasons behind each. Ask us the same ones.

What a good visit should include
Scope varies from one company to the next, so confirm it in writing or by message, with us or anyone else. A solid visit normally covers every run on the house, not just the front.
- Debris pulled out of the full length of the troughs
- Downspout openings checked and cleared
- A look at how water drains once the work is done
- Bagging or hauling of the debris, or a clear statement that it stays on site
- Notes on damaged hangers, seams or sagging sections
If any item is missing, ask whether it costs extra. Third-party descriptions of a visit, such as the one on Thumbtack, give a general picture, but the scope you agree on is what counts. With us, that scope is settled on the quote call.
Questions worth asking any gutter company
You are hiring a business, so it is reasonable to ask how it operates, and that includes us. Short questions get short, useful answers.
- Is the price for the whole house, or per run or per foot?
- Does it include downspouts?
- Do you work from the ground, from a ladder, or from the roof?
- What insurance do you carry, and can I see it in writing?
- What happens if you find damage?
We make no licence or insurance claims on this site, so put the same questions to us. Florida licensing rules are another point. Gutter cleaning appears to be unlicensed maintenance, but roof repair is not, per the contractor definitions in section 489.105. If a company offers repairs, ask what credentials apply. We do not do roof repair or gutter installation.
One story, two stories and what changes
Height drives most of the difference. A one-story home with a gentle roof is the simplest case. Two-story homes, steep roofs and long runs take more time and more care, and the quote usually reflects that.
Third-party price surveys for the Orlando area show how wide the spread can be. Angi lists a typical range of $119 to $230, with large two-story or debris-heavy jobs reaching about $408. These are market estimates, not our quote. Our own quote depends on the stories, the roofline, the length of the gutters, access and how clogged they are, and we give it after we see the details.
Photos help. A picture of each side of the house lets us give a more accurate number, and the county guide explains why the debris load differs between lots.
